Located in Taman Connaught, Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, this 2km long with 700 stalls night market along Jalan Cerdas is possibly the biggest and longest pasar malam (night market) in Klang Valley, if not Malaysia. The predominantly Chinese night market is open only on Wednesdays from 5:00pm to 1:00am. Taman Connaught Pasar Malam serves many of the residents here who come from all parts of Cheras as well as students in UCSI University staying nearby. The night market is known for the variety of food available. From “stinky” tofu to asam laksa, there is something for every food connoisseur out there to enjoy.
Given the size of this pasar malam, certainly there is a lot of variety. Almost everything you can think of can be found here. There were the usual stalls selling clothes, shoes, CDs, DVDs, toys and girl's accessories. But when there's a crowd, so will there be other questionable characters who will come into play.
