Whether you like it or not, online social networking sites are here to stay, transforming the way we connect with one another.
Malaysia’s first lady of theatre, Dato’ Faridah Merican, together with three writers, Mark Beau de Silva, Alex Chua and Nandang Abdul Rahman, took on the easily overlooked impact that such sites have on our everyday lives.
Mukabuku (literal translation of 'Facebook') presented six short stories – Top Friends; Profile Picture; Could Have Been; Funeral Rights; Addiction; and Remains – that chronicle the ups and downs of the world’s most popular social networking website.
